Launch of a Belgian cosmetics brand that is based on raspberry seed oil
Body&Bess is a brand new Belgian cosmetics brand that manufactures and sells personal care products with raspberry seed oil being the unique ingredient. This company from Lokeren is the only company in the world that has found a way to extract oil from the miniscule seeds so this can used commercially in numerous of areas in the fields of cosmetics and nutrition. How can Body & Bess tell their story to the consumer without having enormous advertising budgets?
We created a press kit, which was based on an industrial-scientific angle where the focus is on the unique production process. A couple of months later we sent a press release in which we explained the beneficial effects of raspberry seed oil for the skin. The last phase of the campaign consisted of a two-day press tour during which the products of Body & Bess were highlighted. With Body & Bess we visited the editorial boards of Sanoma, de Persgroep and Roularte. During this tour the Body & Bess products were highlighted and each product’s specific qualities were explained.
After the first press waves there were articles in Het Nieuwsblad, Het Laatste Nieuws, Menzo, some professional journals and a report on Kanaal Z.
Thanks to the press tour, there were articles in the professional journal Pro Esthetic, in magazines like Feeling, Gaël, Vitaya, Elle, Goed Gevoel, Story and Exclusief and also a full page in Sjiek Magazine (the fashion section of Belang van Limburg) and one page in the weekend section of Gazet van Antwerpen. Besides that, there were articles on the websites weekendknack.be and numerous of beauty blogs.
